BaseCommute Premium has built-in provisions to accommodate varying ride matching habits to allow commuters to select matches based on such preferences as mode of travel or trip type. All match lists can be customized with the requesting commuters’ home or mailing address.
Users may also choose to communicate through the system.
Because BaseCommute Premium does not restrict trips by distance or legs, a commuter could even search for a match from Washington D.C. to San Francisco.
